Dr. Patrick Njue Kanampiu
Dr. Patrick N. Kanampiu is a Lecturer in English and Linguistics at Tharaka University, Kenya, where he also serves as Section Head (English & Linguistics) and Field Attachment Coordinator in the Department of Humanities. He holds a PhD in Linguistics and English Language from the University of Edinburgh. His research focuses on Bantu morphosyntax, language typology, and experimental approaches to language, with particular emphasis on noun class systems, information structure, and morphosyntactic variation in Kîîtharaka. He has published in leading international journals and contributes to edited volumes on African linguistics. Dr. Kanampiu is actively involved in grant-funded collaborative research, language documentation initiatives, and university teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
